Responsible Gaming
Gaming should stay fun. Here's how to keep it that way, and where to turn if it stops being fun.
Our rules
- You must be 18 or older to open an account.
- Gaming is entertainment. Never treat it as a way to make money.
- Only play with money you can afford to lose.
Tools you can use
- Deposit limits: ask support to cap your daily, weekly or monthly deposits.
- Time out: pause your account for a set period.
- Self-exclusion: close your account for a longer period. You can't reopen it early.
To set any of these up, message @MST88_bot on Telegram.
Warning signs
- You spend more time or money than you planned.
- You chase losses or borrow to keep playing.
- Gaming affects your sleep, work, studies or family.
If any of these sound familiar, take a break and talk to someone you trust, or reach out to a counselling service near you.
A two-minute self-check
Over the last few months, have you:
- Bet more than you meant to, more than once?
- Felt restless or irritable when trying to cut down?
- Hidden how much you play from family or friends?
- Borrowed money or sold things to keep playing?
- Played to escape stress, boredom or low mood?
What your answers mean
One "yes" is a sign to slow down and use the tools above. Several are a good reason to take a break now and talk to someone today.
Habits that keep it fun
Budget first
Decide the amount before you deposit. Treat it as the cost of a night out, and don't top up.
Watch the clock
Set a phone alarm for the end of your session. Long sessions blur judgement.
Pick your moment
Don't play when you're upset, tired or drinking, and never with money meant for bills or savings.
Don't chase
Losses are the cost of the entertainment. Trying to win them back usually makes them bigger.
Help for you and your family
If gambling is causing harm, talk to someone: a doctor, a counsellor, or a religious or community leader you trust. Befrienders Kuala Lumpur offers free, confidential emotional support if you're struggling. Blocking apps on your phone can also stop access to gambling sites while you take a break.
If you're worried about someone close to you, talk calmly and without blame, and avoid covering their debts, which can make the problem last longer.
Protecting minors
Nobody under 18 may hold an account. If you share a device with children, use parental controls, don't save passwords in the browser and log out after every session.
Common gambling myths
- "I'm due a win." Slot spins and card deals don't remember earlier results. A losing streak doesn't make a win more likely.
- "I can win it back." Chasing losses usually means bigger bets on worse terms, and bigger losses.
- "I have a system." Betting systems change the size and timing of your bets, not the house edge.
- "Near misses mean I'm close." Two jackpot symbols and a blank is still a losing spin, not a sign.
Setting a limit
Message our support bot with your username and the limit you want: a daily, weekly or monthly deposit cap, a time-out, or self-exclusion. Ask support to confirm when it's active. Limits are easiest to set while you're calm, before you start playing, not in the middle of a session.
